This game was originally created all by my lonesome in 48H for the United Game Jam 2020. The theme for the jam was "Two." The game ranked #12 Overall.
With Yin & Yang, I wanted to dive into a mechanic where, like the symbol, two characters have to work together without killing each other, always keeping the balance intact. The theme would be represented by the 2-character mechanic, but also with two lights, two areas, etc. The characters' movement would be purposefully difficult to represent the importance of taking things slow and methodically, with a rushed misstep causing chaos to unfold. The space-like physics ensure a constant flow of movement.
Started learning game development in April 2020, this is my second released game and first game jam. It was an incredible experience, and I hope you enjoy the game at least half as much as I enjoyed making it.
Thanks!

Pretty neat game, but the momentum of the player objects is a bit too much. Tone it down a bit and it'd be a lot more fun.
Thank you for this! I’m receiving mixed feedbacks on that topic, I might just make it customisable. 👌
